Thermocouples

Thermocouples are mainly used to measure higher temperatures. Different thermocouples are used depending on the requirements.

These are regulated in several standards including German (DIN 43710 – has now been discontinued), European (DIN EN 60584), and American (ANSI MC96.1 or ASTM E230) ones.

The special requirements of the respective application (e.g. operating temperature, existing atmosphere, prevailing pressure, etc.) are considered through the construction selection and the materials.

Here, thermocouples can be complemented by additional JUMO products (e.g. through transmitters for transfer of the measuring signals).
